In episode two of Not Just a Boys’ Club, a film series following the lives of nine women working in the Canadian climbing industry, filmmaker Alexa Fay  captures a day in the life of business owners Lacey Dumler, co-owner of Shakti Rock Gym in Montreal, and Lisa Lajoie, co-owner of Délire Escalade in Quebec City. The two women haven’t always found their jobs easy, and they recount frustrating experiences of not being taken seriously as businesswomen in the male-dominated industry.

Not Just a Boys’ Club is presented by the B.I.G. Initiative, a Canadian nonprofit that helps women achieve their goals in climbing, and by the North Face, with support from Mate Libre.
