From OARS and the Sierra Club, Return From Desolation chronicles war veteran, oilman, and river-guide Garrett Eaton’s quest to conquer PTSD following his service in Afghanistan. Like many who struggle with PTSD, Eaton sought help from doctors and pharmacists but found there was no substitute for what Desolation Canyon did for his mental health. Now, the canyon itself is in a state of peril as it’s being sought out for drilling and oil extraction. Working in the oil fields and on the river, Eaton is at a crossroads in the full film, which is set to debut in June. Stay tuned to our website for the release.
