For Lorenzo and Patti Diaz, paddleboarding the waterways along San Diego county's coastline evolved from a recreational pursuit into an environmental one when they began collecting marine debris. From tires to hypodermic needles, the trash the couple found shocked them into action, and they began organizing regular cleanups with other paddleboarders. In 2015, those cleanups prevented more than 5,900 pounds of trash from reaching the Pacific Ocean. Death Cookie Entertainment shows us what it's like to be a part of the H20 Trash Patrol in this trailer for the upcoming short documentary Junk in Public.
