The Natural Selection Tour, a multi-month snowboarding contest that brings together the world’s most talented riders, kicked off in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on January 25. Jackson Hole is known for its steep terrain, including a vertical drop of 4,139 feet, making it the perfect location for the start of the tour. Check out scenes from the qualifying round of the contest in this clip, then watch all of day one here. There’s also a livestream of the competition—running through January 31—on stream.NaturalSelectionTour.
The tour will continue in February in British Columbia’s Selkirk Mountains and in March in Alaska’s Tordrillo Mountains.
