The Lyngen peninsula in northern Norway is home to 124 peaks, each over 3,200 feet tall. The Lyngen Alps offer incredible backcountry skiing—and even the occasional chance to ski from a summit to the sea below. In 2018, Norrøna ambassadors and professional skiers Nikolai Schirmer, Merrick Johnston, and Asbjørn Eggebø Næss took to Lyngen’s slopes to test out gear in the company’s home country. Welcome to Lyngen shows the footage from their expedition.
