Last summer, photographer and filmmaker Drew Simms spent a month driving across the entire state of Idaho. He explored white quartz sand dunes, hiked into North America’s deepest river gorge, climbed 10,000-foot peaks, photographed waterfalls that give Niagara a run for its money, drove through bright green and vibrant yellow farmlands, and enjoyed 3,100 miles of beautiful rivers.
