In an age where the American Dream is measured in the car a person drives or the title on their business card, there is a growing number of professionals who elect to take a different path: the one they create. Artist, designer and backcountry snowboarder Adam Haynes took a job designing for a major athletic brand right of out school, but soon realized it wasn’t for him.
