As a full-time science student at DePaul University in Chicago, climber Michaela Kiersch has a tightly packed schedule between school, coaching, and training. Kiersch does her training and coaching at First Ascent Climbing to prepare for big weekend road trips to Kentucky's Red River Gorge. In Golden Ticket, Kiersch sets her sights on the Golden Ticket route, which is notoriously known as a “man's route” for its big, powerful moves.
