After Hurricane Joaquin devastated his home in the Bahamas in 2015, flats fishing guide Elton “Shakey” McKinney and his community were left to rebuild. Though the storm devastated the mangroves, an integral piece of habitat for fishing, filmmaker Brooks Beatty, with support from NRS, was able to hook up with more than a few fish.
