When your hands turn to blocks of ice due to bad circulation or bitter cold temps (or both), a sweet ski day can quickly sour.
But now, thanks to Hestra’s Power Heater Mitts, you’ll never worry about frozen fingers again. Battery-powered mittens take heated hands to the next level by providing all-day warmth when your body can’t generate its own. Charge ’em , and you’re ready to charge.
Choose one of three warmth settings on the back of your glove by pressing arrows for warmer or less warm. An LED indicator will let you know when you’re on and how hot you’re running. Powered up, lithium-ion batteries warm heating elements in the fingers and thumb. On low, mitts stay warm for about ten hours, then it’s back to the outlet for four hours of charging.
The electrified mitts, which come with a travel case and an international adaptor, have fiberfill polyester insulation in a wind-proof, waterproof-breathable nylon softshell. The leather palm, fingers and thumb give you good grip on poles even sans wrist straps.
And, of course, they’re toasty even when they’re not juiced (mittens are warmer than gloves—fingers heat each other when they’re sharing space).
