We love weekend mornings because of hot coffee, the Sunday 'New York Times,' and maybe a little pickup football in the park. We also love ditching our khakis and ties for something a little more comfortable. Here are our tops picks for a weekend getup that’s easy to wear, rugged, yet still plenty stylish.

Los Angeles–based designer Ilaria Urbinati partnered with Eddie Bauer for this fashion-forward remake of its classic Skyliner Bomber, first released in 1936. While it retains the original’s down insulation—700 fill—and a cotton-nylon DWR face fabric, we like the new version’s stylish plaid lining and gold zippers.

Back in 2014, we were glad to see Brooks reach into its archive and bring back vintage shoes like the Chariot, an icon from the 1980s. Nowadays, the Chariot line is huge, with every old-school colorway you can imagine. This isn’t the shoe you’d choose to run next year’s Boston Marathon, but it’s perfect for an early morning jog or kicking around the coffeehouse.

Filson partnered with Detroit-renaissance watchmaker Shinola for its Mackinaw Field Chrono. But Filson being Filson, the company moved its watch away from the city and into the bush, with a canvas-covered leather strap, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a body that’s waterproof down to 660 feet.

Your sweatpants should mirror your fitness: slim and trim. The Ace, made from soft cotton French terry, are cut just lean enough to be flattering but not so tight that your dumbbells are showing.

A throwback style from the pioneering days of Yosemite climbing, the Mt Shasta has been updated with adjustable temples for fit and carbonic TLT lenses. Riding the sweet spot between massive aviators and tiny wire rims, these glasses haven’t found a face they don’t look good on.

The Vintage feels like a flannel after it’s been beat to hell for a few years. Thick Japanese-milled cotton is plenty soft but warm enough for early morning temperatures. It’s also handmade in New York City.

A man’s jewelry should be like his coffee: no frills. The Leather Bracelet with Shackle has a leather band, waxed thread, and stainless-steel buckle. That’s all you need. Submit your wrist measurement to designer Ivan Cavieses, and he’ll hand-make one to your specifications in his workshop in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The Raglan is stitched for ease of movement in the arms and shoulders—perfect for throwing the pigskin—and the body is fitted for a put-together look after the game is done.

Nashville’s Tucker & Bloom recently updated its classic weekender with a weather-resistant, U.S.-made waxed canvas. But plenty carries over from previous editions, including the bomber shearling shoulder strap and bright nylon liner, which makes finding that sweater easy. It’s edged with veg-tanned leather sourced from Kentucky. We’re excited to see what this bag looks like in five years.
