Roman Dial is a pioneering American adventurer and a professor of mathematics and biology at Alaska Pacific University. He is an explorer and the author of The Adventurer’s Son. A former National Geographic Explorer, he received his Ph.D. from Stanford University and lives in Anchorage, Alaska.
