Colorado’s Keystone Resort has new family-only parking steps from the main village, with free wagons to help you load in gear. Plus, if you book two or more nights in resort-owned lodgings, kids 12 and under ski free (from $145). Steamboat has half- or full-day family lessons with a private instructor, who will teach kids how to parallel turn and parents how to carve ($519). And at Utah’s Deer Valley, book the Family Value Package between December 7 and 15 and kids ski free, while you get 20 percent off lodging, lift tickets, and kids’ gear rental.
